ARRDEC’s vision is to see a society of not just healthy people but healthy people who have a sustainable means of livelihood who live above poverty line. Achieving this vision, ARRDEC’s efforts are anchored on the objective to foster economic independence among vulnerable groups in the society. It is our belief at ARRDEC that some of the most effective ways of fighting poverty in the society include the provision of capacity building/training and skills acquisition and provision of basic education. This belief drives ARRDEC’s poverty alleviation programs with great reference or linkage to all Nigerians government’s policies and programs on poverty alleviation. ARRDEC’s Sustainable Livelihood programs are also guided by the United Nation’s seventeen (17) Sustainable development Goals (SDGs) with a specific focus on goals 1,2,4,5 and 8.
