ARRDEC works to facilitate sustainable livelihood for the rural populace from businesses in agriculture and all of its value chain. ARRDEC’s advocacy for rural farmers has brought about the release of more than N11 million FADAMA Grant to 964 rural farmers (2011-2013). ARRDEC also generates funds internally through investments in agriculture such as cat-fish rearing, cultivation of cash crops such as cassava, plantain, cucumber, turmeric, palm fruits, etc. ARRDEC has over 10 hectares of farmlands for this purpose.
