This is an annual event organizes by Partnership Initiative in the Niger Delta (PIND) where all Niger Delta Civil Society Organisations who have benefited from PIND’s Capable Programme came to share and learn from experiences of each other about what works and what doesn’t. PINDs Capable project stands for Capacity Building for Local Empowerment and this project was launched in 2013 to boost the institutional and technical capacities of local civil societies and businesses in the Niger Delta States of Nigeria so they could increase their competitive advantage to accessing funds and improve the quality of service delivery to the communities they work.


ARRDEC has been a beneficiary of PINDs Capable Project since the launch. ARRDEC’s capacity had been strengthened in the areas of personnel and institutional capacities. ARRDEC’s staff have participated in PIND’s organized Trainings, Workshops, and coaching and mentorship programs. The outcomes of this strengthening of ARRDEC included improved M&E systems, financial management systems, and information and communication systems, improve staff knowledge and performance, improved policies etc.



The 2017 edition of the event was held on 24th and 25th October 2017 in Asaba, Delta State and ARRDEC was represented by the Program Manager, Adebanjo Elizabeth and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Mr. Nwokenna Kennedy.


The 2018 edition of this event was held on the 22nd and 23rd of October 2018 at Transcorp Hotel, Calabar, Cross Rivers State and ARRDEC was duly represented by the Program Manager, Adebanjo Elizabeth, and the Finance Officer, Ntofon Bassey.
