Palladium Nigeria, with support from USAID Nigeria under its SCALE project organised a 2-Day Capacity building training for Civil Society Organisations in Nigeria. The training was effective advocacy for policy change.
A total of 15 participants who were drawn across 13 states plus the Federal Capital Territory participated in the training. ARRDEC was represented by Stephanie Bassey and also, one of ARRDEC’s Cluster members in person of Mrs Uduak of WOCLIFF was one of the participants.
The participants were trained on the following topic: understanding the basic advocacy tools, steps in advocacy process, understanding policy environment and developing advocacy messages and methods.
The training promoted SCALE’s objective to enhance capacity for improved civil society organization’ advocacy, collaboration and management.
